  • In today’s world, diarrhoeal dehydration and vaccine-preventable diseases are responsible for the death of millions of children every year. Illness and death have been found in a large number of bottle-fed babies. In Nepal, the high infant mortality rate of 111 per thousand live births has been a serious problem. In this connection, four aspects of child survival and development revolution viz Oral rehydration, Immunization, Breast feeding and growth monitoring are of immense importance.
