About : 

  • The wood-work depicting the image of Shiva-Parvati on the artistic window of the two storeyed temple in the vicinity of the Gaddi Baithak in Kathmandu is an exquisite specimen of Nepalese wood-carving.
  • The magnificent 7102 meter high Pabil Peak of the panoramic Ganesh Himal Range was assaulted by the joint expedition team of the Nepal police Mountaineering and Adventure Foundation and the Japan workers Alpine Federation on the 3rd Kartik 2035 (20th October 1978).
  • The perpetual performance of the traditional “Akhanda Hom” initiated by Bal Brahmachari Swargadwari Mahaprabhu of Swargadwari Leka (Hill) in the Pyuthan District of Rapti Zone is performed even to this day.
  • The stamp depicts a view of the Yajnashala where the “Akhanda Hom” is being performed.
