Issued for : A Commemorative stamp to be available throughout 1967 is one of the Canada Post Office contributions to country-wide celebrations marking the Nation’s Centenary.

Design : A bold blue emphasizes our water and land mass of 3,851,809 square miles on the North American continent; corresponding in colour is the nation’s centennial symbol at the lower right. In the upper portion the flag flies in its official red and white. The Centennial Commemorative stamp will feature a virtually invisible adhesive.
